born in oklahoma, she moved to atlanta to attend emory university. she studied in rome before graduating with a double major in psychology and journalism and a minor in photography. she grew up loving cameras, always sneaking into her fathers closet to pull his out of his top drawer. she is also a writer and collage artist.
